Car Parts on amazon.com (Who Knew)
By Mcaughey
I never thought i would find parts for my car on amazon. Shows you what i knew, Normally these rotors retail for 80$ a piece at my local parts store assuming they can get them. I found them here for under 100 for a pair with shipping. Just to let you know They don't come gold plated like they show. I painted the exposed steel on mine (For all the good its going to do) They also don't have a conventional crosshatch grind pattern as seen normally, they have concentric rings already in the rotor, Hoping the brake pads don't eat these. Also they came in these round plastic containers, they weren't too hard to open when i used a screwdriverWell after driving around for over 3 weeks on these i can report no problems at all the ceramic pads have yet to eat these. My dad used ceramic Pads on an OEM toyota rotor anf the pads ate it alive. I have to say i,ve had none of that. I should say if you want to use a ceramic pad you should use a preimuim brake rotor as well. Of note I used Beck Arnley Ceramic pads i figured using the brake pads from the same brand would help. Guess it did. The rotors smoked a bit at first but it was problbly the caliper paint i used on the hat and in the fins to stop these rotors from rotting away to nothing
