I bought this for a 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7L V8 2WD w/ Auto Transmission. Installation takes less than an hour, just have your metric socket set handy. It fit up great and cranked off the first time.The price of this will let you rebuild your old starter and keep a spare (in my case, the commutator ring just needed cleaning, brushes were still in good shape). You'll still come up cheaper than paying the core charge at a retailer.
